Toasted Marshmallow Matcha Latte
Elevate your regular matcha latte by adding a splash of toasted marshmallow. Or, go a little further and add marshmallow flavour from thee syrup to the toppings for an extremely delectable drink!
Matcha
- 1½ tsp matcha powder
- ¼ cup hot water
Latte
- 1-2 tbsp toasted marshmallow syrup
- 1-2 cup non-dairy milk (I used oat) warmed
Toppings
- ¼ cup marshmallow fluff see below
- 1-3 marshmallows see below
- 1 marshmallow flower see below
Matcha
Heat water.
Scoop 1½ tsp of matcha powder and gently guide through a fine sieve into a bowl. Add ¼ up of water and whisk until the clumps are gone and the matcha is frothed.
In a glass, add 1-2 tbsp of toasted marshmallow syrup, add warmed non-dairy milk and matcha.
Optional: Top with ¼ cup marshmallow fluff, a few marshmallows, and a baked marshmallow flower.
